Museum of Fine Arts Museum Houston

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The sixth largest museum in the country, MFAH houses one of the country's leading permanent collections of fine art, as well as popular traveling exhibits. Children's Museum of Houston. One of the top children's museums in the country and one of the nation’s most visited youth museums, Houston’s Children’s Museum is comprised of 14 interactive areas geared towards the younger set. Holocaust Museum Houston. The first institution of its kind in the Southwest, Holocaust Museum Houston serves as a memorial to the millions of people who were imprisoned and killed in Nazi death camps during World War II. Admission is free. Visit www.hmh.org

The Houston Museum of Natural Science. This museum explores the earth's wonders in the Wortham IMAX Theatre, the Cockrell Butterfly Center, the Burke Baker Planetarium and three floors of permanent exhibits featuring everything from dinosaurs to the extensive Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals.
